Did you know that walking can strengthen your heart, lungs, bones and muscles? A simple activity that many of us do everyday also has the power to help us improve our mood, balance, coordination and sleep.

So now that we know why walking is good for us, let's briefly talk about when walking can be the most beneficial.

Taking a brisk stroll after a meal is a great option for 3 reasons because this helps with:

  1. Digestion, reducing gas & bloating

  2. Regulating blood sugar levels & lowering blood pressure

  3. Increase energy levels

Consider adding a 10 minute walk after a meal to your routine because it can really help your body out!
