This vegetable has a sweet, mild flavor and is a nutritious source of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. In fact, one cup will provide approximately 8 grams of protein & fiber, which is more than you will find in an egg! Frozen, canned or fresh, green peas make a great addition to pastas, soups, stir fries and stews. I buy them frozen and just add them to my one pot meals! Easy peasy :-)
